Jakarta Java Jazz 2010

Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival will be held on March, 5-7th, 2010, at Jalan Expo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Indonesia. Chairman Java Festival Production, Peter F. Gontha said, “We want Jakarta be the world place for Jazz music, not in America or anywhere.”

This big event will perform from any circle of Indonesian actress music and international. Musicians from Indonesia are Tohpati, Bubi Chen, Andre Hehanusa, Idang Rasijidi, Syaharani, Aksan dan Titi Sjuman, RAN, Barry Likumahua, Dewa Budjana, Ecoutez, and others, while the famous Jazz musicians from foreign countries are Tania Maria, George Duke, Ivan Lins, Bob James, Sergio Mendez, Sadao Watanabe, The Manhattan Transfer, Incognito, Jammie Cullum, Babyface, Jason Mraz, Chaka Khan, ‘The Godfather of Funk’ George Clinton, Bobby Caldwell, Peabo Bryson and many more.

Any various genre of Jazz such as serious jazz will be presented by Hubert Laws, Rand Brecker and Bill Evans, Steve Lukather, Darryl Jones (The Rolling Stone Bassist), even David Murray. While for the slow Jazz will be presented by Bob James, Michael Paulo, Eric Marienthal, Everette Harp, and many more. The audience will be entertained by number of attractive singer Tony Braxton, Roberta Gambarini and Jane Monheit, and absolutely enjoy the performance of Eric Bennet and Kenneth Babyface Edmonds. Diane Warren is not left behind, the productive composer and produced so many hits. Among others are Don’t Want To Miss a Thing (Ost. Armagedon), Rhythm of the Night (Gloria Estefan), How Do I live Without You (Lee Ann Rimes), Un-break My Heart (Tony Braxton) and Blue Eyes Blue (Eric Clapton). Diane Warre even led Indonesian singers to perform some of his hits.
