British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards was completely succeeded to be held in Royal Opera House, London, Sunday, February 21. The Hurt Locker won for the 63rd time. It succeeded take six awards, including Best Film and Best Director. Other awards are Best Original Screenplay, Best Sound, Best Editing and Best Cinematography.

“This is really wonderful appreciation for me, be here in this place with filmmakers that I really proud of them and inspired during this decade.” Said Kathryn Bigelow while receiving Best Director Award, while Avatar only got two awards. Those are Best Special Visual Effects and best Production Design.

Not only The Hurt Locker Film that’s in charge in this year, but also Carey Mulligan, 24. She succeeded defeat her senior such as Meryl Streep. She (Carey Mulligan) got Best Actress Award to her play in An Education. And the actor, Colin Firth, 49, won the Best Actor category. “I can’t imagine it’s happening to me, so, um, I don’t think anything what I wanna say. I was here last year and I even couldn’t imagine that it really happens.” Said Mulligan.
